Measuring Personality Imagine being able to scan anyone to know their minds profile. People present themselves through their personality, and psychology is like the minds functionality breakdown. Psychology and personality go hand and hand together. Using psychology and examination, personality can be measured and determined. To discover the basics of how one would determine personality psychologically, it is important to understand the basics of what psychology is and what personality is. One obvious way to measure and examine a state of someone would be to test them. There are many personality tests to de termine the strong suits, weaknesses, and the inbetweens of someones personality. One test in particular is called the Jung personality test. What the Jung personality text basically does is it asks a series of questions that covers different fields of how one would act and feel in various different fields based on some different life situations and concepts and uses that to decipher a personality field that best fits the tested persons answers. A more detailed explanation on how the Jung personality test works is by how the creator, Carl Jung, thought how personality was split into three different fields, these field had two opposite categories in them, telling which one would fit an individual. The first field would be to fall between either having extraversion or introversion tendencies. These tendencies have to do with ones energy and expression; extraversion being to have more external energy, and introversion being have to do with internal expression to the world.
